More than 1000 viewers in Bassano for the first day of the 2018 Cev U17 Volleyball European Championship - Women (2nd Round). The first match presented a great balance between Poland and Croatia teams; the Polish girls win at tie-break gettin' back in the game after the drawback (2-1).

"It was a balanced game, like decisive it was the serve. In second and third sets Croatia served better than us, then we grew up in the serve too. I’m happy to the reaction we had. It’s an important victory.” Those the words of Andrzej Pec (Poland Coach).
Igor Luvrinov (Croatia Coach) - despite the defeat, but satisfied to the girls performance. "We suffered a lot of injuries and they had penalized us, but we had a great reaction in the end. I think that in this tournament, fights are especially for the second place.”

In the second match pf the day, Italy won 3-0 vs Austria.
Michele Fanni (Italy coach): "We had trouble at the beginning, but then we played better. I’m happy with the group work. I’m convinced that the European qualification depends on us!"
And for Evelyn Siebert (Austria coach) the team gave all its competitive spirit, but it wasn’t enough. "Italy is a very strong team. It’s a big honor for us to be in this tournament. We hope to do better in the next games”.
