Press Reales n.3 - CEV U17 W - 2nd Round - Poule B

Sold out (1200 viewers) in Bassano del Grappa for the second day of the 2018 Cev U17 Volleyball European Championship - Women (2nd Round). In the first match of the day clear victory for Poland team that after a rocky start, win the match against Austria and get 5 points in the ranking. Evelyn Siebert (Aut) speaking of the game: “We are not really glad today. We have made a good start, but then the height gap between us and them was fundamental. We suffered attack and defense. When there’s a girl in trouble, all the other follow her unfortunately."
"We had concentration problems at the beginning - Andrzej Pec (Pol) said at the end of the match - Then I called a time-out and I tried to give order to the team. The things settled down, we did fewer errors and we played with the right concentration. The third set was easy enough for us.”

A great victory also for the Italian team - thanks to Omoruyi performance - that wins in 3 sets with Croatia e conquers the top of the ranking with 6 point. A full female match: players, referees and linesmen, the only man on the court is the second referee, Miklos Horvath. Michele Fanni - Italy coach - “Today the game was really hard, compared to yesterday’s one, but I’m really happy with the game and the result. We showed a really good volleyball at times and we have to find continuity and avoid wasting some opportunities.”
Congrats to Italian team - Igor Luvrinov (Croatia Coach) - they have deserved to win! Today We do better than yesterday, but it’s not enough.”
Will be decisive the match between Italy and Poland (6th January -18.30) to define what team will be at the top of 2nd Round and will get the pass for the European Championship in Bulgaria.
