Another sold out in Bassano del Grappa for the last game day of the 2018 Cev U17 Volleyball European Championship - Women (2nd Round).
The first game ended with the Croatia victory for 3-0 against Austria; the Croatian team finishes the tournament with 4 total points instead of Austria finishes without victories.
The last game - of these 3 days - between Italy and Poland, it saw the home team win 3-1; Italy officially get the pass for the European Championship in Bulgaria.
Michele Fanni (Italy coach): “I think it was fundamental girls reaction after the second set. It’s the best thing girls had show me today. We had made a very good start, exactly how We plan to do! Poland was good at the serve and We were in trouble in reception, but We stayed strong and We did it!” The best performances of the Italian team are those of Alessia Bolzanetti (19 pts) and Loveth O. Omoruyi (20 pts).
